Title: Can You Order Food in Tokyo with a Google Translate App?

So I'm heading to Tokyo next month and I'm wondering if anyone's had any experience using Google Translate to order food at restaurants. I've heard mixed reviews about its accuracy, but I'm willing to give it a shot to practice my Japanese skills. Has anyone had a decent experience with ordering food using Google Translate in Japan?

"Dude, yeah you can totally order food in Tokyo with Google Translate. I've used it to order sushi and ramen, and the results were pretty funny but also kinda legit. Just don't expect to sound like a native – the locals will get a kick out of your accent"

"Yup, I've done it before! Google Translate does the trick, but it's not 100% accurate, so be prepared for some misunderstandings. Just use it to get the gist of the menu and then point to what you want."

"Yaaas, it's totally doable! I used Google Translate with the speech-to-text feature to order food at a ramen shop in Shibuya and the staff understood me just fine. Just be prepared for some awkward pronunciation, lol."
