Y'all, just had a friend lose some funds due to a suspected phishing scam, where the bad actors managed to trick them into switching to a fake wallet. Has anyone else ever had a similar experience? How do you guys ensure your wallets are secure?

Dude, I've been using MetaMask for years and never had any issues. It's definitely not perfect, but it's got good security and I've never had any hacks or losses. As for trusting our wallets, I think the real question is - are we using them correctly and following best practices?

TBH, I think some of the newer wallets on the market are doing pretty well in terms of security. For example, I've been using Ledger for like 2 years now and I've never had a major issue with it. But, I still double-check my seed phrase and 2FA just in case.
