Can Udemy courses give you the real edge, or are you just betting on timing?

Been grinding Udemy courses for Solidity and TA, but honestly wondering if it's alpha or just noise. Skills seem useless without the right timing in this market. Anyone actually turn those cheap certs into a bag, or is it just a lottery?

I think the edge comes more from the individual's dedication to learning and applying what they learn than from the platform itself, Udemy courses can be a great starting point but you gotta be willing to put in the work to actually make something of it.

I'm all for upskilling on Udemy, but let's be real, there are some pretty overhyped courses on there - the key is to find ones taught by industry experts rather than just some joe who's been around the block a few times. Also, it's not just about timing, but also the actual skills you gain, which can be applied to real-world scenarios, giving you a genuine competitive edge.

Honestly, I think Udemy courses can be helpful for learning the basics of a topic, but if you're looking for an edge in the industry, I'd say you need hands-on experience and networking. Most top performers in crypto have probably spent as much time making mistakes as they have learning from courses.
