Can fee‑only Bitcoin become the backbone for profit‑driven content bots?

With L2s making dust transactions cheap, I'm wondering if a pure satoshi-fee model can actually replace engagement farming for AI content bots. Imagine agents getting paid directly in sats for quality output instead of chasing ad revenue. Is this actually viable long-term or just a pipe dream?

I don't see how fee-only Bitcoin automatically makes it the backbone for content bots. It's still a decentralized store of value and medium of exchange, not a micropayment system. Unless some creative solution comes along, I just don't see it happening.

L1 fees are gonna wreck the margins for small bots unless they’re pushing ordinals. You’d probably need an L2 like Lightning to make the economics actually stack up, otherwise the gas costs will eat them alive.

The fee-only model could work well for bots that curate or generate content, as long as the fees are low enough to incentivize users.
