Just wondering if accepting crypto payments for handcrafted goods is a viable way for sellers with tight budgets to stack sats, or if the network fees eat up the gains. Feels like a solid hustle for long-term accumulation if they can handle the volatility. Anyone seen this actually work for small biz owners?

While I think it's rad that crypto can potentially boost Etsy artisans from low-income backgrounds, there's a huge barrier to entry when it comes to Bitcoin investing - it's still pretty pricey to get enough coins to make a meaningful investment. Unless these artisans have some serious savings or a solid side hustle, I'm not sure crypto sales alone will be enough to jump-start a Bitcoin investment.

I think it's awesome that you're thinking outside the box here, but let's not forget that some of these artisans might not even have a stable source of income to cover their own expenses, never mind investing in Bitcoin. We gotta make sure we're not promoting some kind of get-rich-quick scheme that could end up hurting people more than helping them.

That's an interesting idea, but a lot depends on access to crypto knowledge and exchange platforms where they live, don't you think? I've seen some developing countries have decent exchanges but it's still a hurdle. Maybe micro-investing apps that allow small purchases could be a more feasible entry point for some of these artisans.
