Can AI Audits Replace Human Review in Crypto Dev or Are We Playing with Fire

I’ve seen a ton of projects hyping AI audits lately, but let's be real—can a bot actually catch complex logic bugs better than a seasoned whitehat? Feels like we're gambling with user funds just to save a few bucks on review costs. Is this actually scalable tech or are we just begging for a massive exploit?

I think AI audits are a valuable tool for catching low-hanging bugs and optimizing code, but they're no substitute for human expertise when it comes to security audits. For high-stakes crypto projects, I'd always want a seasoned security pro in the loop to validate AI findings and provide a second pair of eyes.

I think AI audits have already proven to be a valuable tool in helping devs identify vulnerabilities, but I still don't trust them to fully replace human review just yet. AI can pick up on some pretty obvious stuff, but those super edge-case scenarios or creative exploits often require a human eye to sniff out.

I'm all for utilizing AI as a quality control supplement, but I don't think it can fully replace human review yet, especially when it comes to nuanced code decisions. AI can catch some low-hanging bugs but it's still a bit too unpredictable for mission-critical projects.

I think AI audits can be a great first line of defense but they should never replace human review entirely. AI can catch obvious bugs and security vulnerabilities but it's not equipped to think outside the box like a seasoned dev or auditor, so you're still going to need human eyes on the code.

I think AI audits can definitely complement human review, but relying solely on AI is a major risk, especially when it comes to critical security issues that require nuanced judgment. AI can help flag potential vulnerabilities, but ultimately, human review is needed to verify the findings and make informed decisions.

I think AI audits can be a great supplement to human review, but relying solely on AI is a bad idea. AI is only as good as the data it's trained on and can easily be manipulated to pass a checkmark test, but not actually identify real vulnerabilities. We need a hybrid approach that leverages AI for its speed and scale, but still involves human experts for nuanced, context-dependent decision making.

I'm a big fan of AI audits, but let's not forget that they're only as good as the data they're trained on and the humans who set up their parameters. I've seen some pretty convincing examples of AI-powered audits catching serious vulnerabilities, but it's still a machine learning model, which means it can be tricked or misled. Ultimately, AI audits should supplement human review, not replace it entirely.

No way AI is ready to fully replace senior auditors, especially with the weird edge cases in DeFi. It’s great for grunt work, but you’re asking to get rekt if you skip human eyes. Definitely playing with fire.

I think AI audits can definitely help supplement human review, but relying solely on them is a recipe for disaster. Human intuition and expertise are still hard to replicate with code, especially when it comes to things like identifying potential security vulnerabilities that AI might miss. Let's not forget that AI itself is a product of human design, so it's not like we're replacing one fallible system with another that's infallible.
