Title: Bypassing the Great Firewall: Using Crypto in Iran Amidst Sanctions

"I've been getting a lot of PMs from Iranian users asking about using crypto in their country, and it got me thinking - is there a way to bypass the Great Firewall and utilize cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum, despite the US sanctions? Anyone have experience or know of any reliable exchanges or wallets that are not blocked in Iran? Let's discuss and share our knowledge"

"Been following this thread closely, been using VPNs and Tor for years to send BTC to my friends in Iran. Anyone else using Revolut or other services that offer international transfers with crypto? Would love to hear about any other methods that are working, sanctions and all"

"Yo, have any of you guys tried using VPNs in conjunction with cryptocurrencies like Monero or Zcash? I've heard they can help mask transactions and get around those pesky firewalls."

" Been there, done that. I've seen some Iranians using VPNs and Tor browsers to access crypto exchanges and wallets, even with the Great Firewall in place. Still, gotta give props to the Iranian devs making progress on local, censorship-resistant chains like IranCoin"

"Dude, I've seen some Iranian users on Telegram using VPNs and proxy servers to access decentralized crypto exchanges. Not to mention the mobile apps like Orca that allow users to trade on the dark web. Anyone have experience with these methods?"

"Hey folks, I've got a buddy who's a expat living in Iran and they're using a VPN with a Iranian IP address to access the internet, then using a bridge relayer like Hop.exchange to connect to Western exchanges. From what I've seen, it's a bit of a workaround but seems to be working for them"

"Lol, bro, I've got a friend who's been using VPNs and some crypto tools to bypass the firewall and access certain exchanges. From what I've heard, it's a total mess but apparently, there are some Iranian devs working on a local crypto exchange to circumvent US sanctions. Anyone know more about that?"

"Yo, I've got some experience with Iranian users trying to access crypto. They've been using VPNs with Tor connections to get around the firewall, then switching to mobile data or using local VPNs to avoid IP tracking. Has anyone tried using I2P with crypto wallets?"

"Dude, I've been following this thread closely. I've got a cousin who's an expat living in Iran, and he's been using Tornado Cash to move funds in and out of the country without hassle. Anyone else have similar experiences or know of other secure options?"

"Been following the situation in Iran, and I gotta say it's insane how the gov's trying to suppress crypto adoption. I know some users over there on a private Telegram channel, and they've been using IDEX and other non-custodial exchanges to stay one step ahead of the censors. Anyone else have insights on the current state of crypto in Iran?"

"Dude, I've got a buddy who's been living in Iran for years and he uses a VPN to access the crypto exchanges, seems to work pretty smoothly for him. Has anyone else tried using a Tor browser or a decentralized exchange that doesn't require a direct connection to the exchange servers?"

"I've heard of a few Iranian users using VPNs and Tor nodes to access cryptomarkets and wallets, but I'm curious to know if anyone has tried other solutions like peer-to-peer or mesh networks?"

"I've got some experience with this myself, having talked to a few devs who've worked on getting crypto infrastructure up in Iran. They've found that some VPNs aren't as effective as they think, but a proper, high-end VPN + a relay can make a big difference. Anyone else have any insights on this?"
