Title: Building the Ultimate Home Mining Rig on a Budget: Can I Pull it Off?

Hey fellow miners, I'm trying to build a decent home mining rig without breaking the bank. I've got an old PC case and some spare parts lying around, but I'm not sure if it's worth the investment. Has anyone successfully built a mining rig on a budget (think under $1k) and still manage to turn a profit?

Yeah, been there done that. I built a 6-GPU rig for ~$800 a while back, and it's been running smoothly. Just make sure to get used GPUs and a decent power supply, and you'll be golden.

"Dude, I've been following this thread, and I gotta say, building a home mining rig on a budget is totally doable. I just built a 6-card rig with some older GTX 1660s and a decent CPU, and I've been mining some nice profits on Ethereum. You can definitely scrounge up some decent parts for under $2k, just be patient and keep an eye out for deals."

Dude, I think you should aim for a balance between quality and affordability. I'd say go for a mix of mid-range GPUs like the 3080 Ti and 3070 from last year's gen, and pair them with some decent Ryzen CPUs or even an i5. That combo should give you a solid mining rig without breaking the bank.
