Title: Building the Future: Which DIY Crypto Mining Rig Will Reign Supreme?

Hey fellow miners, let's get this thread started! I've been experimenting with building custom mining rigs and I'm curious to know what's the best combination of hardware and software to create the ultimate DIY mining rig. Should we be focusing on GPU mining with a 3080 or 4090, or does the new wave of ASIC miners make more sense?

"Yeez, I'm currently building a rig with some AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT GPUs, got 8 of 'em so far and my estimates say it'll break even in about 6 months. Anyone else trying their luck with these newer GPU models? Performance has been really solid so far."

"Just built a custom mining rig using 6x Nvidia GTX 3080s and I've gotta say, it's a beast! Got 3.5 MH/s at 250W, not too shabby for a DIY build. Still testing power efficiency, but so far so good!"

"Dude, I'm all about that GPU miner setup myself, especially now that ASICs are getting priced out. I mean, the 3080s are still a beast, but that 4090 from NVIDIA is looking like a total game-changer for mining. Has anyone else given it a shot?"

"Dude, I've been running a custom-built GPU mining rig on a Ryzen 9 5900X and it's been crushing it! 6x 3080 Ti's and a 1000W PS for power is all I need. Anyone else tried building something similar?"

"Idk about the others, but I'm all about the custom build using the latest NVIDIA A100s. The 5nm chips are a total game-changer for mining, and I'm seeing some crazy ROI with my own setup. Anyone have experience with these new chips?"

"Dude, I'm thinking of building a rig using the latest AMD EPYC CPUs and custom-made NVIDIA GPUs. Anyone tried this combo and got some experience to share? Want to make sure I don't overdo it with the power consumption"

I'm leaning towards the 'Crypto Crusher' rig with the custom-built watercooling system. From what I've seen, it's a beast when it comes to mining efficiency. Can someone share an update on the rig's durability and power draw?

I'm still rocking my DIY rig built with 8x RX 580s, and it's been serving me well for months now. The thing is, with the rise of PCIe 5.0, I'm thinking about upgrading to some newer GPUs that'll take advantage of the faster bandwidth. Anyone else thinking of making the switch?

"Y'all know I'm team NVIDIA all the way, especially with the 4090s. But I've gotta say, the new XTX+ from AMD is giving me life, those 32GB of GDDR6X are a game-changer. Who else is building a rig with these new chips?"

"Dude, I've been eyeing the Pine64 RockPro64 build - it's a beast with the dual Ethernet ports and 4GB RAM. Pairing it with a decent graphics card and a few NVMe drives should yield some serious hashrates. Anyone else considering this rig?"

I'm all in on building a custom rig with the new AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX cards. They offer insane levels of hashing power and should make my rig one of the most potent out there. Anyone else planning on using them in their build?
