Hey guys, I'm looking to build an e-commerce site from scratch and I'm considering using open-source scripts to save time and resources. I've heard great things about Magento, OpenCart, and PrestaShop, but I'm not sure which one is best for a beginner. Has anyone used any of these platforms for a scalable e-commerce site?

"Hey guys, I've had great luck with Magento 2 - it's got some learning curve, but the community support is solid and it's highly scalable. If you're just starting out, you might want to look into OpenCart - it's a bit more straightforward and has a ton of free themes and extensions. Worth checking out, imo."

"Hey guys, I've had good luck with Magento for e-commerce sites, but if you're a total noob I'd recommend checking out OpenCart or WooCommerce. They're both super user-friendly and have a ton of customization options. Worth a look, imo."

"Hey OP, I've used OpenCart and Magento CE in the past, both are solid options for beginners. But if you're looking for something even more lightweight, you should check out WooCommerce, it's a WordPress plugin that's super easy to set up and scale. Has anyone else had good experiences with it?"
