BTC dominance dumping? Why apeing into alts right now is the fastest way to get rekt

Everyone’s screaming “altseason” just because BTC.D dipped a little, but I really think that’s a huge trap. If you ape into this right now, you’re gonna get absolutely wrecked when Bitcoin decides to take back the liquidity. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

I'm not sold on the idea that alts are inherently riskier than BTC, I think people are just freaking out because the crypto market is always choppy and we get a bit too attached to our investments. If you're comfortable with the risks, diversifying into alts can be a good strategy, but maybe we should focus on learning more about them instead of panicking.

idk about the panic selling but i do think the recent dip in alt season could be a buying opportunity if you're careful, just make sure to do your own research and don't go all-in on any one coin. the market can be unpredictable, but it's always been a gamble with crypto.

I'm not buying into the 'BTC dominance is dumping' hype, it's just the cyclical nature of the market. The altcoins I'm interested in aren't even near ATHs, so I don't see why they're getting the short end of the stick. A little patience and due diligence go a long way, imo.

i'm not saying dump all your BTC, but if you're consistently putting in 100% of your portfolio into the one coin, you're not diversified and you're basically asking to get hit hard when the market drops. diversifying into alts can help mitigate risk, but only if you do it smartly and not based on hype. people get rekt because they ape in alts without understanding the tech or market factors behind them.

100%. Everyone apeing into alts right now is just providing exit liquidity for the whales. Stick to BTC or stables unless you want to see your portfolio bleed out.

I dont think its a bad idea to diversify your portfolio with some alts but timing is everything, apeing in now when btc is still volatile is a recipe for disaster. Been there done that and got rekt last year with a similar move. Just waiting for the dust to settle before making any big moves into alts.

Honestly, playing the alt rotation game this early is just setting yourself

Hoping for an altseason pivot before Bitcoin decides where it's going is just asking to become exit liquidity. You'll definitely get rekt waiting for a flip that might not even happen.

I see this BTC dominance "panic" every time the market starts to move against them, it's not hard to see alts bouncing when BTC takes a hit but that's not a reason to FOMO into altcoins, fundamentals still matter. Most alts are still super overhyped and have no real growth potential to back up their crazy valuations.
