"Just saw the latest research drop on cryptos vulnerable to quantum computing attacks. Looks like some of the smaller cap coins are the most at risk, with 64-bit hash functions being the biggest concern. Anyone have any theories on how these coins will mitigate the risks?"

"Lol not surprised, been warning ppl about this for yrs. Anyways, can someone share the details on which cryptos are most at risk? Don't wanna panic just yet".

"Man, this is gonna be a wild ride when the quantum computing threats start manifesting. As predicted, SHA-256 is looking pretty vulnerable, wonder how this will impact Bitcoin in the long run. Anyone got a take on how soon we might see these attacks start making a dent?"

"Dude, this is some pretty concerning news. I'm guessing we're talking about the usual suspects like RSA-2048 and SHA-256 based cryptos, right? Any updates on what the researchers suggest for mitigating the risks?"

"Just read the article and gotta say, it's not all doom and gloom. Most cryptos that are vulnerable to quantum attacks are ones we don't use much, so it's not a major concern. Still, some major players like RSA will be affected, so maybe it's time to look into post-quantum cryptography."

"just saw this and gotta say, it's not surprising at all. I've been saying for years that our current cryptography methods are a ticking time bomb waiting to be blown by a QC breakthrough. does this mean we're due for a major crypto overhaul?"

Dude, I just saw a paper on arXiv that says SHA-256 is more susceptible to QC attacks than we thought, so that's a major concern for Bitcoin. Not sure if this means we need more work on post-quantum cryptography or just better QC-resistant crypto algos. Has anyone read through the paper?
