Title: BMWS Going Electric: Worth the Upgrade?

Hey guys, just got word that BMW is pushing hard into the electric space, and I'm torn about whether to upgrade from my 5-series to the new i5. The i5's supposed to have some killer range and performance, but I'm not sure it's worth the hefty price tag. Anyone else considering making the switch?

I'm gonna have to say no to the upgrade, at least for now. I've had a gas-powered BMW for years and it's been reliable as ever. Switching to electric just doesn't seem worth the cost of a new car for me, especially with my short commute.
