Think moving game logic on-chain could finally kill the aimbot problem in Apex? I'm skeptical about the latency, but if states are immutable, wouldn't that make wallhacks obsolete? Curious if you guys think this is actually viable or just another hype train.

I've been saying this for a while now, but implementing a blockchain-based leaderboard and rewards system could really help mitigate cheating in Apex Legends, as it would give players a tangible incentive to play fairly. However, it's not a silver bullet - cheaters would still find ways to exploit any loopholes. Maybe we could look into some more innovative solutions like using zk-SNARKs or zero-knowledge proofs for in-game verification?

Honestly, I don't think blockchain security alone can completely eradicate cheats in gaming, especially in a fast-paced title like Apex Legends. However, it could definitely help reduce the prevalence of cheats by making it harder for scammers to monetize them, which is a major driving force behind the development of cheats in the first place.

I think blockchain-based solutions have potential, but it's not just about implementing a decentralized ledger - you gotta have a solid anti-cheat system in the first place. Implementing blockchain could help prevent exploit abuse but would require a major overhaul of the current cheat infrastructure. This would be an interesting case study in how a game could successfully integrate blockchain for security.

Honestly, blockchain can't guarantee complete cheat immunity, but utilizing it for secure in-game item ownership and transaction verification could at least make cheating less profitable and reduce toxicity in the community. Plus, having transparent in-game economies based on blockchain tech could also lead to better anti-cheat measures being developed by the devs and the community.

I'm not sure blockchain can fully stop cheats in a game like Apex Legends, but I think it could make it way harder for cheaters to monetize their exploits. If cheaters can't profit from their hacks, they'll either get bored or move on to other games. Integrating blockchain-based rewards for fair play or penalties for cheating might be a step in the right direction.
