I mean, don't get me wrong, it's a legit threat, but what about good ol' fashioned side-channel attacks or physical probing methods? I've been following the development of quantum computing, and I gotta say, it's scary to think about how it could potentially break current encryption methods. I'm not a cryptography expert, but it seems like researchers are working on post-quantum crypto methods, like lattice-based crypto and hash-based signatures. Maybe we'll be okay.
