BTC is flatlining rn and it feels like we're just waiting for the other shoe to drop. Are we coiling up for a massive breakout or is this just the start of another long-term snooze fest? Let's get into the charts and figure out what comes next.

idk about a breakout just yet, imo the market's being held down by the us interest rate situation and that's not gonna change anytime soon. a long-term lull could be possible, but i think it's more likely we see a bounce once that gets sorted.

I don't think the BTC price movement is quite as stagnant as it seems from a macro perspective, but the overall trend has been bearish for a while now. We need to see a convincing close above 35000 to call this a breakout, and even then, I'm skeptical about a strong short-term bounce. Anyone else think the whales are holding off until we get a clear bottom formed?

I think it's time to look beyond BTC and focus on the altcoins with real-world use cases. Bitcoin's been stagnant for too long, it's the smaller caps making moves and actually doing something. Give me a decent DeFi token or a project with real-world adoption any day over stagnant BTC.

I'm pretty sure the market is waiting for some major news or event to push us out of this sideways trend. Till then, we're stuck in this limbo, and short-term traders are getting eaten alive. But long-term holders are still looking good, imo.
