Title: Beyond the Basics: Building Scalable Smart Contracts in 2023

Hey devs, let's kick off this convo. Building scalable smart contracts seems like an impossible task, especially when dealing with large-scale applications and high transaction volumes. What are some of the most effective strategies you've implemented to increase the scalability of your smart contracts this year?

"Dude, just chimed in here but I'm actually building a scalable smart contract for a new project right now and I gotta say, I'm loving the new toolsets that are coming out for Vyper. Anyone have experience with the new Solidity optimizer? Should I be giving it a shot or sticking with good ol' school?"

"Yo, been following this thread and gotta say, the use of low-level languages like Rust for smart contract dev is a game-changer for scalability. The examples of scaling Ethereum with Optimism and zk-Rollups are also super promising. Anyone have hands-on experience with these solutions?"

"Hey guys, just wanted to chime in - I've been experimenting with the new Vyper compiler and I gotta say, it's been game-changing for our team when it comes to building complex smart contracts. Has anyone else had a chance to play with it and what are your thoughts? Love to hear your experiences"

"Hey guys, just wanted to share my experience with Hardhat in building scalable smart contracts. It's been a total game-changer, especially with its seamless integration with Ethereum. Definitely give it a try if you're looking to take your dev game to the next level."
