With BTC dominance ripping like this, it feels like the liquidity is just getting sucked out of the entire alt market. Watching some of these top 100 projects flatline makes me wonder if the great purge is already underway. Is this finally the end of the 'altseason' dream, or just another shakeout?

I think it's pretty clear that the altcoin space has been getting a bit stagnant lately, but I'm not convinced we're on the brink of an apocalypse just yet. The recent drop in Ethereum's price is a bit concerning, but I'm sure they've got solid plans to get things back on track with ETH 2.0.

I'm not buying the Apocalypse vibe just yet, I think we're still seeing a natural market correction after the past year's FOMO driven growth. That being said, I do think some of the smaller altcoins are due for some serious shaking out, it's just a matter of time before we see some more significant losses.

Honestly, the liquidity has completely evaporated from anything outside the top 10. It's basically just blue chips and memes now, everything else is dead volume. Gonna be a long bleed for the alts unless BTC rips soon.

Honestly, feels like we’re finally flushing out all the junk from the last cycle. Liquidity is drying up fast, and everyone seems to be rotating back to BTC to play it safe. Only the actual utilities and strong memes are gonna survive this winter.

I know some folks are freaking out about Luna and Terra but I think it's more like a correction from all the hype we've seen over the past couple years. The fact that a handful of coins are getting crushed doesn't mean it's the 'apocalypse', just a normal part of the market fluctuating. We've seen this before, we'll see it again.

People scream "apocalypse" every time BTC dominance ticks up a few points. Sure, the low-cap trash is getting wiped out, but solid projects with actual utility aren't going anywhere. It’s just another cycle shaking out the weak hands.
