I'm a big fan of World Bank Open Data and Data.gov, they've got a ton of publicly available datasets across various fields, some of it's a bit dusty but it's a great starting point. Another one that's often overlooked is the US Patent and Trademark Office, they release a lot of interesting data on innovation and tech advancements.

I'm a big fan of Kaggle datasets, been using them for years to test out various machine learning models and the community is always very active. Quandl's financial data is also a hidden gem, they offer free and paid options for stocks, forex, etc. Another resource that gets less love is the World Bank's open data portal, it's got a wealth of info on economic and social metrics.

Don't sleep on Dune Analytics for custom queries, it’s a total goldmine for finding token-specific alpha. DefiLlama is also the GOAT for raw TVL data without the heavy paywalls.
