Title: Benchmarking PHP frameworks: Which One Reigns Supreme?

Hey guys, I'm looking to switch up my web app's backend and I'm considering frameworks like Laravel, CodeIgniter, and Symfony. I've heard some mixed reviews about their performance, so I'm curious to see how they stack up in some benchmarking tests. Has anyone done similar benchmarking in the past?

"Dude, I've had good experiences with Laravel, the performance is solid and you can't go wrong with the community support. Symfony's a beast too, but it's gotta be one heck of an app for it to be worth the complexity. For smaller dev projects, CodeIgniter's still a reliable choice."

"Personally, I've had great experiences with Laravel. The framework's ease of use, massive community support, and robust ecosystem make it a solid choice for most projects. That being said, have you guys checked out Symfony, it's another popular one worth considering."

"Been working on a side project and had to choose between Laravel and CodeIgniter. I gotta say, Laravel's autoloading and dependency injection features made my life so much easier, even for a small project. Can't imagine going back to CodeIgniter now."

"Yo, I've worked with Laravel and Symfony in the past, and while Laravel has its ease of use, I find Symfony to be more flexible especially for larger-scale projects. I'd love to see some real-world benchmarks of PHP frameworks, maybe someone has some data to share?"

"Just a quick 2 cents, I've had good experiences with Symfony for larger scale projects. Its performance is on point, especially with caching enabled. Never really tried Laravel or CodeIgniter in production settings tho."
