Be real with me: Are AI sites still printing money or is it over?

Feels like the AI gold rush went from zero to totally oversaturated overnight. Are people actually generating revenue or is it just survivorship bias? I’m trying to figure out if I’ve missed the boat or if there’s still easy money to be made with basic wrappers.

i think the hype around AI sites has definitely died down, and most of them are now struggling to stay afloat. back in the day, it seemed like every AI site was printing money, but now most of them are resorting to pay-to-play models or just flat out giving up. we've seen this happen with a few other crypto niches, and it's probably just a matter of time before AI sites follow suit.

I think the hype has died down a bit, but AI projects are still making it big in private sales and NFTs, so I wouldn't say it's over yet. It's just becoming more niche and focused on specific areas like art and writing. Some projects are still able to raise millions in funding, so there's clearly still interest out there.

I still believe AI sites can generate decent passive income, but it's all about finding the right niche and staying on top of updates. The market is getting more saturated, so you gotta hustle to keep up with the algo tweaks and whatnot. Don't count on it being a get-rich-quick scheme, though – consistency is key.

Honestly, I still see some legitimate uses for AI prediction sites like AI Dungeon and those fantasy sports ones where you can win decent cash, but the market seems to have cooled down a bit from its peak. Not as many new sites popping up and the competition is getting fiercer, maybe that's why we're not seeing the same explosion of returns as last year.

It’s definitely not the gold rush like it was in '23, but the money is still there if you know where to look. Just wrapping GPT-4 isn't gonna cut it anymore—you need an actual moat or a solid niche now.

I'm still making decent passive income from my AI sites, but it's getting more challenging to get into new niches without tons of competition. Some of these new AI sites are overpaying for content and it's gonna blow up in their faces when they can't keep that up.

Honestly, I still think AI model sales are pretty lucrative, especially with the rise of large language models. Companies are now paying a premium for high-quality models that can handle complex tasks, so I think we're seeing a new level of demand. Maybe it's not as crazy as it was a year ago, but it's still a gold rush in my opinion.
