Automating private swaps with Python: Are we just exposing our home IPs?

Been working on a Python bot to execute private swaps without touching a UI, but the security implications are gnawing at me. If I'm not routing through a proxy, am I just leaking my home IP to every RPC node out there? Seems like a huge OPSEC risk unless I'm missing something.

I see what you're getting at, but isn't that a risk we take with any online activity? As long as we're using something like a VPN and proper firewall configurations, I don't think our home IPs should be exposed to risk, but I'd love to hear more about your security setup.

I've used this setup before and it's definitely possible to route traffic through a VPN or Tor so your home IP isn't exposed, but you'll need to modify your scripts accordingly. Just make sure you're not creating unnecessary vulnerabilities by exposing your private keys.

Yeah, running that raw from your home IP is a huge L for your opsec. Definitely spin up a cheap VPS or route it through a proxy so you

I've been experimenting with PySwap and I think we're missing a crucial point here - even if we mask our home IPs, exchange APIs could still track our individual trading activity if they know our public keys or wallet addresses. To mitigate this, we might need to set up a VPN or proxy that changes our IP addresses frequently, but that adds another layer of complexity.
