"Hey all, just wanted to share a crazy story about a friend who's been having issues with a crypto exchange. He deposited some BTC, but the exchange claimed it got lost in a 'technical issue' and now they're saying he's liable for the loss. I think it's a total scam, but I'd love to hear what you all think - fair or foul?"

"Dude, this is like a wild case. I'm not a lawyer, but it seems to me the exchange has more grounds for canceling the trade due to the obvious market manipulation."

"Ya gotta feel bad for the dude, getting his funds locked on the exchange and then having to go through arbitration just to get access to 'em. It's shady how some of these exchanges operate. Not saying it's a foul move specifically, but definitely some gray area going on here."

"Lol what a wild case. From the details, it looks like the exchange is totally in the wrong by freezing the user's funds without giving them a proper reason. Anyone got a link to the full arbitration report?"

I think the user has a legit case, the exchange did unfairly freeze their assets without due reason. The user should definitely push for arbitration to clear their name and recover their funds.

"Dude, this is straight up foul play if the exchange is holding onto the guy's funds for 'investigation' purposes. I've seen this happen before, all just a ploy to freeze assets and drag out the process. Someone should look into this ASAP!"

"Yo, I'm not trying to take sides here, but I think the user has a legit gripe. The exchange's TOS says they'll hold funds for up to 72 hours before releasing, but it sounds like in this case they just kept the user's cash forever. That's some shady bs, if you ask me."

I've been following this case and it seems like the exchange is being pretty shady. They're claiming the user's account was compromised, but I've seen some red flags that point to possible insider trading. This whole thing just reeks of unfair treatment.
