idk about tech limitations but i think regulators are definitely playing a major role here in the US, seems like they're trying to slow down crypto adoption in any way they can. apple and google pay partnering with banks etc is definitely a factor as well, they don't want to rock the boat by integrating competing systems.

I think tech limitations like scaling issues and the need for robust security are definitely holding them back for now, but we're also seeing major players like Mastercard and Visa getting deeper into crypto so it's only a matter of time before we see mainstream adoption. Apple and Google have the resources to make it happen if they truly want to, they just need to figure out the right approach.

I'm not so sure it's tech limitations holding them back, more like the liability concerns and regulatory compliance issues that come with supporting crypto wallets. If they were to add crypto wallets, they'd have to navigate a lot of gray areas, which could expose them to some serious financial risk.

Let’s be real, it’s not a tech issue at all. It’s all about liability and regulatory FUD. They could’ve integrated this years ago if it didn't mean dealing with the SEC.

I think it's a bit of both to be honest. Regs are definitely a hurdle, but tech limitations are the real showstopper here. Google and Apple have to balance user security with decentralization, it's a tough tightrope to walk.

Definitely regs, the tech has been ready for ages. Apple isn't gonna risk the legal headache until the SEC stops playing games.

It’s definitely regulations, the tech is there already. Apple and Google aren't gonna risk the SEC breathing down their necks while the rules are still a mess. They're just waiting for clear guidelines before they open that can of worms.

Tech isn't the issue here, it's 100% the regulatory gray area. Apple and Google could easily integrate wallets if they weren't so scared of the SEC breathing down their necks.

It’s definitely regs, the tech has been ready for ages. Neither giant wants the legal headache of managing compliance on top of their existing payment rails. Apple especially won't budge until the laws are crystal clear.

It’s definitely regs holding them back, not tech. They’re just waiting for the framework to be solid so they don’t get slapped by the SEC.
