Algorithmic Website Scams: Fact or Fiction?

Hey all, I was browsing a new altcoin on Reddit the other day and stumbled upon some shady claims being made by the devs about their "cutting-edge" algorithmic website that's supposed to guarantee huge returns. I've heard rumors that this "algorithm" is just a fancy word for "scam", but I'm not convinced. Has anyone else come across these types of claims?

Been there, done that. Algorithmic website scams are sadly all too real. I had to fork over some crypto to some shady site that claimed to be 'revolutionizing' decentralized finance - turned out it was just a phishing attempt

I'm calling BS on most of these scams. I've seen too many websites claiming to be AI-governed, but they're just basic bots generating fake traffic and sales. Anyone else have a similar experience?

I've fallen victim to a few of these "algorithms" that promise overnight wealth, but what I've learned is that they're actually just bots designed to get you to click on sketchy links or invest in some worthless coin that'll never pump. Just be careful with any website that claims it's using "AI" to "guarantee" returns or something because 99% of the time it's just a scam.
