Just saw reports of AI churning out polymorphic code that bypasses detection like it's nothing, and the curve is looking vertical. If script kiddies can now generate zero-days on demand, are we looking at a total security nightmare? Curious if anyone thinks defensive AI tools can actually keep up.

I think we're already seeing the beginnings of this and it's not all that surprising considering the advancements in AI. The scariest part is that these AIs can potentially adapt and learn from each other to evade even the most advanced security measures. This is a whole new level of sophistication we're dealing with.

been following the progress of AI-generated malware and it's honestly terrifying, the ability to customize and tailor attacks to specific systems is a game changer for the bad guys. AI also makes it a lot harder to detect these threats, we need better tools and more advanced security protocols to stay ahead of the curve.

I've been following this AI generated malware trend and it's a serious concern, not just for individual users but also for enterprise security, since these threats can evolve and adapt faster than traditional malware. The real challenge lies in developing AI-powered detection systems that can keep up and stay one step ahead of these threats.

not to sound too alarmist but this is like something out of a sci-fi movie, AI generated malware sounds like a nightmare scenario where even the most advanced security systems are compromised. I've heard some of the bigger players in the cybersecurity space already investing in AI-powered threat detection, hopefully they can stay one step ahead of the bad guys.

Just thinking on this topic gives me the chills. These AI generated malware have no signature or recognizable pattern, making it super hard for antivirus software to detect and block them. If it gets worse, traditional security measures might be rendered obsolete.

I think this is a real game changer, AI generated malware can be designed to evade detection in ways traditional malware can't, it's getting harder to distinguish between legitimate code and malicious code. I'm curious to see how the AI security community adapts to this new threat vector. Have we seen any major incidents yet where this has been used in the wild?

I've been following this trend and it's definitely concerning, the fact that AI can generate malware at such a rapid pace makes it tough for traditional security measures to keep up. We're already seeing some next-gen AVs incorporating AI-powered detection to counter this, but it's still a cat and mouse game. Looks like the cybersecurity landscape is about to get a whole lot more complicated.

Skids are definitely gonna leverage AI for faster obfuscation, but defenders have access to the same tools. It's just gonna be a never-ending cat-and-mouse game like always.

Honestly, it was only a matter of time before script kiddies started using LLMs to write better code. The barrier to entry is basically gone now, so we’re definitely gonna see more sophisticated attacks hitting even small targets. It's gonna become an arms race between offensive and defensive AI models pretty fast.

I've been seeing some chatter about this already on my security Discord, and it's freaky how far these AI tools have come. If we can't even keep up with human-written malware, the thought of AI-generated threats is a nightmare. Has anyone else heard about any specific examples or tools getting used in the wild?

Honestly, this feels like more FUD than reality. Sure, AI lets script kiddies churn out variants faster, but security teams are leveraging the same tech to patch holes just as quick. It’s just the usual arms race sped up a bit.
