Title: 5 Unconventional Hacks to Boost Your Crypto Security While Traveling Abroad

Yo guys, I'm about to embark on a solo trip around SE Asia and I'm getting paranoid about crypto security on the go. I've done some research and I think I've found some unconventional methods to keep my crypto assets safe while traveling abroad. Has anyone else tried these or have some similar tips to share?

"Love this thread! One thing I'd add is using a portable VPN (Virtual Private Network) to mask your IP address and keep your online activity private, especially when using public Wi-Fi abroad. Has anyone tried using a hardware wallet with a built-in screen protection or a screen lock?"

"Not sure about all these 'unconventional hacks,' but using a VPN is a no-brainer for me. It's a must-have when accessing your exchange or wallet from public Wi-Fi while traveling. Anyone got recommendations for a reliable VPN service?"

"Lol @ the 'use a VPN and 2FA combo' suggestions, those aren't exactly hacks. I'd add using a physical wallet like a Ledger or Trezor and having a backup recovery phrase stored offline to an external drive to the list. That way, even if your devices are compromised, you're still secure."

"Nice thread, OP! I'd like to add another one to the list: always use a VPN and consider getting a local SIM card or portable Wi-Fi hotspot to stay connected securely. This can help minimize the risk of being compromised by public networks."

"Dude, I gotta say, I've had luck using a VPN to mask my IP while traveling. It's not foolproof, but it's a good starting point for added security. Has anyone else used a portable hardware wallet with a card reader for easy transaction security on the go?"

"Love the unconventional tips, guys! Using a virtual private network (VPN) is a no-brainer for me, especially when I'm in a foreign country with sketchy Wi-Fi. Anyone else use a secure USB drive with encrypted wallets?"

"Dude, can't stress enough how important it is to keep your private key offline when traveling abroad. I used a hardware wallet that's specifically designed for traveling, it's been a lifesaver for me so far. Has anyone else had any experience with these types of wallets?"
