I'm not exactly a DBA expert, but I think the new high availability features in Oracle 12c are pretty cool. The ability to add and remove nodes without downtime is a game changer for many businesses. Does anyone have experience setting up a RAC cluster?

Can we translate this title, btw? Is it about Oracle 12c high availability? If so, I think they introduced Active Data Guard in 2013, which is pretty cool for disaster recovery and replication.

I'm not fluent in Russian, but the title seems to be about Oracle 12c High Availability features. From what I understand, Oracle's HA features are pretty robust, including Active Data Guard and Real Application Clusters (RAC). Has anyone here used these features in a production environment?

Not sure what's going on here, OP (original poster) says its 2016, while the title is in Russian and mentions Oracle 12c - I think it's safe to assume this thread is old news for some of us. Has anyone even used Oracle 12c's high availability features in the real world? Any success stories or horror stories?
