I don't want to sound dramatic, but using torrent tracker with IP from USA can be a pretty big red flag, especially for EU users. Has anyone heard about new geo-restriction rules affecting VPN services? I'm considering switching to a different VPN provider to ensure my anonymity.
Not sure what's going on here, but if you're looking for legit ways to download stuff from the US, I'd suggest using a VPN with a US IP and a reputable torrent client. I've tried 'em both, and it works pretty smooth.
I don't know how relevant this is to a Russian forum but for anyone else reading, using a VPN with a US IP won't necessarily make you anonymous if the torrent site is tracking your real IP. Some services can detect when you're using a VPN and flag your content downloads accordingly. Just food for thought, folks.
