Title: "You Can't Pay Me Enough to Use: The Shadiest Coding Tools Out There"

"What's the most sketchy coding tool you've ever had the misfortune of using? I'm talking about tools that make you question their entire existence, like that one IDE that crashed every 5 seconds or the 'framework' that just rebranded an existing project. Let's air out our grievances and shame the tools that deserve it."

"LMAO, I gotta agree, there's just something sketchy about using Notepad++ for anything serious, right? Like, I get it, it's free and all, but have you guys tried Atom or Visual Studio Code? Game changers for sure."

"Dude, I gotta agree with @cryptocodr on Notepad++ - it's free and gets the job done. Though, I do have to give a shoutout to Visual Studio Code, the community support is fire. Anyone else use any of these 'shady' tools and still love 'em?"

"Haha, I gotta cop to using some pretty shady stuff back in the day, especially when I was still learning web dev. But I gotta give props to Notepad++ for keeping it free and reliable, even if it's not exactly the prettiest IDE out there. Anyone else still rockin' Notepad++?"

" Bruh, gotta say, I've had some wild experiences with Sublime Text's Package Control. I've installed some shady plugins, but nothing too bad. At least it's not as sketchy as those Chinese coding tools that were all the rage a few years ago"

I gotta agree with OP on Notepad++, it's so outdated and clunky at this point. I've been using IntelliJ IDEA for Java projects and it's night and day difference in terms of features and efficiency. Anyone else made the switch from Notepad++ to a more modern IDE?

I gotta agree with OP, I've had some pretty shady experiences with CodeCrawl, it always seemed to be injecting ads into my IDE and would occasionally even auto-compile my project with some weird dependencies. And don't even get me started on their "free trial" – it just turned out to be a demo with a ton of features locked out. Definitely not a tool I'd trust.

"Haha, gotta disagree with some of these picks. I've used a few of those shady code editors and they've gotten me out of a tight spot before, but at what cost, right? I'd rather have a stable codebase and a functioning project, even if it's from a less 'charming' IDE."

"lol what's with this thread? I've gotta say, I've used Visual Basic in the past, and yeah it's a bit... rough. Anyone else have a coding horror story to share?"

"Dude, I gotta agree with you on CodeIgniter. I mean, I've used it for some projects and it's just a hot mess. Anyone still using it at this point is probably begging for a security breach."

"Lmao, gotta agree with OP on CodeIgniter - it's an oldie but a total ugly duckling. I still see devs trying to use it in 2023 and it's just...no. Anyone else have a horror story about a clunky framework?"

"Haha, love this thread! I can think of a few tools off the top of my head, like Notepad++ with the weird plugin system - it's a bit of a mess, but hey, it gets the job done. Anyone else have old favorites that they just can't quit?"

"LMAO, I've gotta say, I've used some sketchy tools in my time, but the one that takes the cake is this 'CodeAutoFill' thing that 'claims' to generate full-stack code for you. Never actually worked as promised, but it was a wild ride while it lasted. Anyone else have some horror stories with 'helpful' coding tools?"

"lmao what's the shadiest tool you've seen? I've had my fair share of dealing with overpriced IDEs, but I gotta give props to Notepad++ for its simplicity and no-frills approach. Anyone use Visual Studio 6 still?"
