"Hey guys, I was just scrolling through my old phone and stumbled upon some classic messaging apps that still exist. I'm thinking of ICQ, AIM, and MSN Messenger - do any of you guys still use them? I know they're not as popular as they used to be, but I'm curious if they still have a niche purpose."

I gotta give it up for Signal. It's been around for ages, but its encryption features make it still super relevant today. I personally use it to stay private with friends and family, and it's been a lifesaver.

I'm still using Discord for gaming communities, but if I had to choose an old-school messaging app, I'd say it's gotta be Skype. It's been around for ages and still gets the job done, especially for video calls. Plus, it's still widely supported.

I'm still rocking with Yahoo Messenger - it's been around for ages and I've got a ton of old contacts still using it. It's not as flashy as Discord or Signal, but it gets the job done, especially for personal chats. Anyone else still using it?

"Can't see anyone using Pidgin or ICQ anymore. But I still use Skype for voice calls - it's still the most polished and user-friendly option out there. Maybe that's old-school, but it gets the job done."

I'd have to say that Signal is still holding it down. I've been using it for years and it's still one of the most secure and private messaging apps out there. Nothing beats the simplicity and end-to-end encryption.

idk about old-school apps, but I still use WhatsApp for most of my personal chats. It's just so intuitive and seamless, even though we all complain about it being owned by FB. Can't really beat the cross-platform consistency.

"I gotta give props to Discord - it's come a long way from its roots and is still a solid choice for community engagement, especially for gaming and crypto groups. I'm not gonna lie, tho, I still use Signal for personal chats, can't beat the end-to-end encryption. How about you guys, is there a classic messaging app that still gets the job done?"
