What if Bitcoin Had a Brand New Visual Identity?

So, I was thinking the other day, Bitcoin's logo and branding have been around since day one, but have we ever stopped to think if it's time for a refresh? With the current design looking a bit dated, I'm curious to see what others think about giving Bitcoin a sleek, new visual identity. Would it even make a difference, or is the OG Bitcoin logo here to stay?

"Idk about a complete overhaul, but updating the current logo to something more modern and clean would def be a step up. Maybe a simplified shield design or a more abstract take on the Bitcoin 'B'? That way, it can still be recognizable as the OG crypto."

I gotta say, a new visual identity for Bitcoin could be interesting, but let's keep in mind, the brand is already an iconic symbol in the crypto space. Any redesign would have to be super strategic, as it's associated with so much value and history. Maybe just a refresh of the logo would be a more feasible approach?
