Title: What Happens When a Centralized Exchange Doesn't Play Ball?

So I was thinking about how we've all heard horror stories about CeFi's (centralized finance) holding users' funds hostage or just plain taking off with them. But have you guys ever wondered what happens when you try to withdraw your crypto and the exchange flat out refuses or just freezes your wallet?

"Dude, we've seen this happen with FTX, Binance, you name it. Centralized exchanges think they're above the law, but when they go belly up, it's the users who get left in the dark. Time to focus on DeFi and self-custody, imo."

"What happened to QuadrigaCX last year was a total mess. People lost millions when the exchange's CEO died with their private keys. It just goes to show, always choose reputable decentralized exchanges for your own security."

"Dude, that's a loaded question. If a centralized exchange starts to play dirty, your assets are basically at their mercy. In my opinion, you're better off keeping crypto offline or using a DeFi platform with more secure custody options."
