"Hey, OP thanks for the awesome thread! I'd suggest starting with learning the basics of blockchain and Bitcoin, then exploring other altcoins and DeFi projects. CoinGecko and CryptoSlate are great resources for beginners, btw."

"For newbies, I'd say the most important thing is to research and don't invest more than you can afford to lose. It's also key to understand the differences between altcoins and established coins like BTC. Start with a solid understanding of blockchain tech and don't be afraid to ask questions."

"Hey, newbie here too. I'd say start by educating yourself on the basics: what is cryptocurrency, how does it work, and the different types out there. Once you've got a solid grasp on that, you can start diving into some of the more advanced topics."

"Hey OP, thanks for sharing the beginner's guide. I think it's a solid resource for newbies, but I'd like to add that it's also super important to do your own research and stay up-to-date with the latest market trends. Don't just copy-paste info, take the time to understand the basics"

"I'm actually a big fan of the Crypto.com Learn dashboard for newbies. It breaks down the basics and has some easy-to-follow tutorials. Has anyone else tried it out and got their foot in the door?"

"Dude, I'd say start with some online courses or YouTube tutorials, like the ones on Crypto 101 or Binance Academy. They'll give you a solid foundation on the basics of crypto and trading. Then, just start small with a reputable exchange and a low-risk investment"
