"Hey guys, I stumbled upon a disturbing vulnerability report for some popular crypto wallets that's been floating around the dark web. Apparently, there are unpatched backdoors in a few major wallets that could allow hackers to steal funds and cover their tracks. Has anyone else heard about this, and if so, how deep does this hole go?"

"Dude, I was reading about that issue with MetaMask, and it's wild how a supposedly 'secure' wallet can have a backdoor like that. I'm glad they're patching it ASAP, but it's a harsh reminder of how vulnerable our wallets can be. Time to switch to a hardware wallet if you haven't already?"

"Dude, this is exactly why I've been using Trezor's Open Source implementation. If a company is keeping their code proprietary, it's hard for anyone to verify there aren't any backdoors. Can we expect a community-driven audit on these wallets to get to the bottom of this?"

"Yo, I'm not surprised by this news. Been saying this for years - code quality and security protocols in crypto wallets are often subpar. Who knows how many others have similar backdoors?"

This is a serious discussion, folks. Just a heads up that my friend who's a dev at a crypto wallet co said they're working on patches ASAP. Anyone have a list of wallets that are confirmed safe?
