"Hey all, just wanted to kick off this thread - I've been playing around with Neo4j for a project and I'm seriously impressed by the flexibility and scalability it offers compared to traditional relational dbs. Anyone else have experience with graph dbs and what are your thoughts on whether they can finally take the crown from relational? Do you see them being adopted more widely in mainstream apps?"

"Lol, relational DBs aren't going down without a fight, but graph DBs have some serious advantages. For example, they're way more efficient for handling complex relationships and are better at scaling horizontally. I'm a fan of Neo4j and MongoDB Atlas, have you guys used either?"

"TBH, I think graph DBs are a game-changer for complex data queries, but they're not a one-size-fits-all solution. Relational DBs will still be the way to go for traditional use cases. We need more real-world examples of when graph DBs really outperform rel DBs."

"Yaaas, let's be real, graph DBs have been gaining traction for years now. I've seen some impressive use cases in blockchain analysis and social network modeling, so I think they've definitely got the potential to shake things up. Has anyone here had any hands-on experience with Neo4j or Amazon Neptune?"
