"Just got word that a recent patch to Skype's encryption has left some users feeling uneasy. Apparently, the new patch has altered the protocol in a way that some security experts are terming as 'less secure' by default. Anyone else hearing about this, and thinking of jumping ship to something like Signal or Wire?"

"Lol, not surprised. Skype's had its fair share of data breaches and security issues. Hoping this is a wake-up call for MS to upgrade their security game, but until then, I'm sticking with Wire and Signal."

"Dude, I just switched to Wire over a year ago due to all the Skype drama. Their end-to-end encryption is way more solid, and I love the decentralized vibe. Anyone else thinking about ditching Skype for good?"

"Lol, what a wild ride. Can't say I'm surprised though, people have been talking about switching up their VOIP for a while now. Anyone else ditch Skype for something like Wire or Signal?"

"Dude, I switched to Discord a while back and I haven't looked back. Their encryption seems solid and it's super user-friendly, I'm sure the migration from Skype users will boost their numbers."

"Skype's reputation took a hit with that massive hack a while back. Not surprised people are hopping ship to alternatives like Signal or Telegram. Anyone know if these services plan on expanding to more features like group video calls?"
