Just saw some whispers on Twitter about Shell, the popular layer-2 solution for Ethereum, possibly introducing a "Dark Mode" feature to mainnet. Anyone else hear anything about this or know what could be behind the rumor? Is this something to get hyped about, or just a small tweak?

"Anyone else think it's just a marketing stunt to keep hype alive? I mean, it's been months since the announcement and we still don't know what it's actually going to bring to the table. Guess we'll just have to keep waiting and see what's real and what's just PR fluff"

"just got a heads up from a dev friend that Shell's working on a major update, but no confirmation on the 'Dark Mode' thing. might be something bigger on the horizon tho".

"Dude, I've been digging around and I think I found a clue. Apparently, one of the core devs mentioned it in a recent AMA that they're looking into implementing dark mode on a per-client basis, but no timeline for mainnet release yet."

"Hey guys, just wanted to throw some fuel on the fire - I've been playing with the testnet and I'm convinced they're experimenting with the Dark Mode feature. My theory is they're testing its performance and user adoption before rolling it out to mainnet."

"Yoooo, fellow Shellers! I've been following the dev updates, and it seems like the dark mode is currently a testnet-only feature. No confirmation yet on when it'll make its way to mainnet, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a soonish release"
