Title: THE BIGGEST LIE IN CRYPTO HISTORY: Was Vitalik's Vision Always About Ethereum's Supremacy?

Hey guys, I've been following the Ethereum community for a while now and I'm starting to think that most people are being sold a bill of goods about Vitalik's 'original vision' for Ethereum. From what I've researched, Ethereum was never just about decentralizing transactions, but about dethroning Bitcoin as the king of crypto. Anyone else think the Ethereum narrative has been whitewashed?

"Dude, I think this conspiracy theory is a bit far-fetched. Vitalik's focus on decentralization and scalability was always about democratizing access to finance, not just about Ethereum being number one. He's been open about his goals and I don't see any ulterior motives there."

I gotta disagree with the OP on this one. From what I've read, Vitalik's original vision for Ethereum was about decentralizing the web, not necessarily about competing with other blockchains. His statements from the early days seem pretty clear on that, but I'm sure there are different interpretations out there.

I've been following Vitalik's work for years and I gotta say, I think people are reading too much into his past statements. His original vision for Ethereum was more about decentralized applications and a new internet, not necessarily supremacy over other chains. He's evolved with the space and that's what matters, not rehashing old quotes.
