"Skype Crashes Again: Got Any Fixes or Alternatives?"

"Skype crashing yet again? Has anyone else lost their sanity trying to figure out why it keeps freezing up on them? I've had this issue for weeks and I'm starting to switch to Discord for my group chats"

I've been using Discord for voice and video chats instead of Skype and I gotta say, it's been way more reliable. Their servers seem to be more stable and the UI is cleaner too. Has anyone else made the switch and what's their experience been like?

"same here, had a major crash yesterday while on a call with a client. Try disabling any 3rd party plugins and see if it makes a difference. I've been using Discord for personal calls, works like a charm so far."

"Been having those Skype crashes too, but I've found that just closing the app and reopening it usually sorts me out. If that doesn't work, try disabling hardware acceleration and see if that makes a difference. Otherwise, I've been using Discord for video calls and it's been pretty solid so far."
