"Hey guys, just had a close call with my server that made me think - what happens when your VPS goes rogue? Mine started throwing 500 errors left and right and was using up all the resources, basically turning into a DoS attack against my own site. Has anyone else had a similar experience?"

"Lol, been there done that, had my VPS go rogue and wiped out my entire mining rig. Luckily I had backups or I'd still be crying about it. Moral of the story: always, always backup your data, even if you think you're invincible."

"Lol, been there done that. Had a VPS that went haywire and started DDOSing itself, ended up getting a $300 bill for the extra bandwidth. Anyone have a good script to monitor for CPU spikes?"

"Dude, I feel ya. Had that happen with my Ubuntu VPS last month, lost most of my data due to a cron job malfunction. Make sure to keep a separate backup schedule and set up alerts for unexpected system activity, can save your bacon"

"Hey guys, I was in a similar situation last year with my VPS. Turns out it was just a resource-heavy script causing the issue, not a full-blown 'rogue' situation lol."

"lmao, I had a similar issue with my VPS last year, but I managed to recover my data by using a backup from a few days prior. Luckily, my host company offered to move my site to a new server without any extra fees. Has anyone else had a similar experience?"
