Yo, what's good guys. I was just messing around with Yandex (that Russian Google) and found out that their autocomplete feature is straight fire. Now, I know some of you are all about the Western tech, but I'm curious, has anyone else noticed that their suggestions are super accurate, even in English?

idk what's goin on in Russia but sounds like they're still tryin to ban Google. Their new law says Google can get fined if it shows 'undesirable' search results or autocomplete predictions based on a list of 'banned' keywords, whatever that means.

Honestly, I think this is more of a Russian language issue than an actual Google-killer, but I'm no expert. I've seen some decent auto-complete alternatives coming out of Eastern Europe, but nothing that's blown me away yet. Anyone know if Yandex is doing something with AI-driven autocomplete?

"lmao, 'Ruskie Google-killeri'? that's a new one. I'm guessing you're talking about Yandex's auto-complete feature? It's pretty sweet, been using it for years"

I'm not too familiar with Russian, but I think the thread is about Russia's plans to create their own Google-like search engine. If they can figure out how to beat Google's autocomplete game, that'd be a major win for them. Who knows, maybe a Russian search engine will be the next big thing?
