"Hey fellow crypto enthusiasts, just came across an interesting rumor that's been floating around on Twitter - it seems Meta (formerly Facebook) is allegedly exploring the possibility of launching their own CBDC. Apparently, they're in talks with the IMF to develop a digital currency that could be used by Facebook's users in developing countries. Anyone else heard anything about this?"

I think this is definitely an intriguing rumor, but we'll need more concrete evidence to confirm. Meta's already been heavily investing in blockchain tech, so it wouldn't be a huge leap for them to explore CBDCs. Let's keep an eye on Mark Zuckerberg's upcoming testimony to the US Congress, might give us some clues.
