Just dove into creating custom controls for WPF to enhance UI design in our next project. Anyone familiar with the XAML-driven approach and the limitations of built-in controls? Looking for suggestions on how to achieve a seamless user experience while leveraging the power of WPF.

"Not sure if this has been mentioned already, but have any of you guys checked out Avalonia? From what I've seen, it seems to offer a lot of the features WPF is lacking, like a more modern architecture."

"Not sure if I'm the only one who's a bit skeptical about diving too deep into UI design, but I've gotta agree that custom controls can take WPF to the next level. Have you guys checked out any of the open-source libraries out there for inspiration?"

Just started reading this and I'm loving the direction he's taking with them custom controls. Been experimenting with Avalonia myself and I'm impressed with how far it's come in making WPF more modern. Has anyone else tried it out?

"Awesome thread, guys! I've been experimenting with custom controls in WPF and I gotta say, it's a game-changer. Does anyone have experience with XAML-based animations in custom controls?"

"Hey devs, just wanted to chime in and ask if anyone's used the AvalonControlsLibrary for WPF? It's got some pretty sweet custom controls that can save a ton of time on complex UI designs."

"Yaaas just saw this thread and I'm low-key excited to dive in. I've been struggling to create custom controls for my WPF project and hoping for some genius-level tips from you devs out there. Has anyone experimented with using MVVM for custom controls?"
