Yoooo, fellow gamers! I was digging through some old Steam libraries and I stumbled upon this retro goldmine - 'Apotheon', a beautifully crafted side-scroller that's inspired by Greek mythology. What are some other hidden gems from the old-school indie scene that we should give another look at? Share your faves and let's get this retro revival party started!

"Dude, I'm so glad you brought up 'Axiom Verge' - that game is a masterclass in retro design and I'm still replaying it to this day. Another hidden gem that comes to mind is 'Hyper Light Drifter', its atmospheric soundtrack and tight controls had me hooked from the start. Anyone else have some recommendations?"

"Yooo, gotta throw in 'Axiom Verge' - it's a Metroidvania masterpiece that pays homage to the classics but still brings some sick modern twists to the table. I've also got a soft spot for 'Inside', it's a hauntingly beautiful game that's like a dark fairy tale. Anyone else playing these gems?"

"Dude, I gotta give a shoutout to 'Braid'. It's not entirely old-school, but it's from the early 2000s and still holds up super well today. The puzzle mechanics are so satisfying and the story is actually deep, you feel me?"

"OMG, I've been replaying 'Braid' lately and it still holds up so well. The puzzle mechanics are genius. Anyone else still got some love for Jonathan Blow's masterpiece?"

"Lol, you guys are bringing back old memories. I'd say give 'Seiken Densetsu 3' a shot if you haven't already. That game was ahead of its time, imo."

"Dude, how could you forget 'Braid'? That game was genius - time manipulation mechanics that still blow my mind. Anyone else have a soft spot for this gem from 2008?"

"Lol, gotta agree with @PixelPwnz on 'Seiken Densetsu 3' – that game's an unsung classic. Also, don't sleep on 'ActRaiser' and 'Terranigma', those two bring the nostalgic feels for me. Anyone else got a nostalgic indie game to share?"

"Dude, you gotta mention 'Cave Story' for the NES. I mean, that's a cult classic. I'm still amazed by how a single person, Daisuke 'Pixel' Amaya, created such a masterpiece in the early 2000s."

"Dude, you can't forget about Axiom Verge. It's like a love letter to the Metroid games, but with that retro 8-bit charm. Played it on my original SNES cart, but the 1.5 update on Switch is fire."
