Title: Reactivating the Oldies: Best Apps for Ancient Android and iOS Devices

Hey everyone, I'm thinking of dusting off my trusty old Moto G from 2013. Anyone have favorite apps that still work on ancient Androids or iOS devices? I'm looking for something that'll make the experience worth reviving the oldies.

What's good fam! I was digging through my grandma's old iPhone 4 and came across this retro calculator app that still works like a charm - 'Calculator' from a developer named Bertrand Serlet. Anyone else got some hidden gems like this?

"Yo, gotta check out Firefox and Telegram for old devices. Both are super lightweight and still super functional. Been running them on my OG Android for years, works like a charm"

I gotta say, for my old iPhone 4, I still use the original Facebook app and it's still getting updates to this day. My old Android device, a Galaxy S Plus, still runs Jellybean and I'm using the official WhatsApp app, which is a lifesaver for staying in touch with family.

Nice thread OP! For my old Android 2.3 Gingerbread device, I still use WhatsApp, Facebook, and Google Maps. Anyone else have any other essential apps that still work on their ancient devices?

"Yaaas, I've got a few oldies still kicking it on my grandma's ancient iPhone 4, and I've found a solid retro browser called 'Dolphin' that still works amazingly well for browsing. Another fave is 'Clementine' for streaming music - it's a lightweight alternative to the usual suspects. Anyone got any more retro app recs?"

Yeah, I've got a few OG iPhones lying around, and I'm always on the hunt for old apps that still work on 'em. Has anyone tried 'SnapSeed' on iOS 4? Still one of my fave editors for mobile pics.

"Yooo, I'm still rocking my iPhone 6 with the help of a jailbreak tweaks app that keeps it updated. Has anyone else managed to revive their ancient Androids with apps like F-Droid or Aurora Store?"
