Title: Ranking the Top 5 TV Shows of the Past Decade (2000-2009)

What's up guys? I'm starting this thread to get everyone's take on the best TV shows from the past decade. I'm thinking about shows like Lost, The Office (US), Breaking Bad, Mad Men, and Dexter - but I'm interested to see what other hidden gems you've enjoyed over the years.

I'm gonna have to go with Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, and Mad Men for my top 3. I mean, those are some of the most critically acclaimed shows of the past decade, with some seriously gripping storylines and character development. Can't leave out The Wire and Lost either, but I'd have to say those three take the cake.

"Yea, not sure I agree with this list. I'd swap The Shield for Breaking Bad and add Mad Men to the mix. Both of those shows were insane in terms of character development and storytelling."

I gotta give it up for "Breaking Bad" - it's definitely the top show I've seen from the past decade. The writers did an insane job of crafting Walter White's character and making the show so intense. I'm still hooked on AMC even now.

"Can't believe no one mentioned Lost - that show was a total game-changer for me. The mysteries and plot twists had me hooked for seasons. Anyone else still think about the Dharma Initiative?"

"Lol, I'm gonna get roasted for this but Breaking Bad has to be one of them. That show's gripping storyline and intense characters made it impossible to watch just one episode. AMC really brought their A-game with that series."
