"Just got my hands on a new VPN claiming it's optimized for Web3 use and I'm thinking about proxying all my Ethereum transactions through it. Has anyone tried any reputable VPNs for Web3 or is it still a Wild West situation? Hoping to get some insight on the reliability and security of these tunnels."

"Dude, I've been using a VPN for my Web3 needs and it's been rock solid so far. I'm not sure if I'd trust one of those new proxy services since they're still relatively untested. Has anyone tried using a Tor Browser for Web3?"

"Hey guys, I've been using Orb as my proxy for Web3 apps and I'm pretty happy with it so far. They claim to have end-to-end encryption and regular security audits, but I'm curious - has anyone else tried them out? Any issues or concerns?"

"I've been using a reputable VPN for my Web3 proxy, but after reading this thread, I'm thinking of switching to a dedicated proxy service specifically designed for crypto. Anyone have any experience with them? Are they more secure than a traditional VPN?"

"Dude, I'm no expert but from what I've seen, some of these proxy services seem sketchy. I'd recommend sticking with established players like Tor or Brave's IPFS proxy if you must use a tunnel. Just don't expect total anonymity, there's usually some logs involved."

"Just had a bad experience with a popular proxy service and it was super sketchy. Had to reset my node and re-do my wallets, which was a total pain. Definitely looking for more reliable options, anyone have any recs?"

"Not saying this for everyone, but I've had solid results with OpenVPN for proxying Web3 apps. The security isn't compromised like with some of the free services out there, and the speeds are usually decent too. Anyone else using it or something similar?"

"Hey guys, I've been using a VPN for my Web3 proxy and I've gotta say, it's been pretty reliable so far. I've only had a few instances where the connection dropped, but I think that's because of my provider's server issues rather than the proxy itself. Has anyone else had any notable experiences with VPN proxies?"

"Y'all, I've been experimenting with Tor for my Web3 needs and gotta say, it's been a solid choice so far. The anonymity is a must for my trading activities, but it does add a few extra hops which can slow things down. Has anyone else had success with other tunneling options like VPNs or dedicated proxies?"

"Just wanted to chime in, I've been using a reputable VPN for some time now and it's worked great for navigating Web3. Still, I'm curious about the security implications of proxying - does anyone know if it's a worthwhile trade-off for the added convenience?"

"Been using PiVPN for my proxy, seems stable so far. The encryption is strong, and it's open-source so I trust it. Any updates or opinions on other reliable proxies?"

"Hey OP, I've had decent luck with OnionShare for proxying. It's free, open-source, and works flawlessly with Tor. Just make sure you're generating the onion address each time, security's a top priority"

"I'm using a VPN through my Cloudflare account, which claims to offer robust proxying for Web3 apps. Honestly, I've had no issues with gas price fluctuations or DApp lag. Has anyone else tried this combo?"

"Hey, just wanted to chime in - I've been using Cloudflare's Warp VPN for web3 proxying and it's been working like a charm so far. Their zero-knowledge proof tech seems solid, but I'd love to hear from others who've tried it out. Has anyone else had a good experience with Warp?"
