"Hey guys, just had a weird moment with my proxy setup. I was trying to access a site via a VPN, but my IP showed up on a proxy list and it looked super sketchy. Has anyone else had issues with proxy nodes being compromised or spoofed recently?"

"Yikes, that's not good! Have you already notified Proxy about the issue? Maybe they can add some extra measures to keep their users secure."

"Lol, yeah, this is getting serious. Just checked my route logs and yeah, I see a fake node trying to get in the loop. Think Proxy should make a statement ASAP to clarify what's good and what's not."

"Dang, sorry to hear that proxy got hacked. Can you tell us more about what you mean by a 'fake node' on your route? Did you check with the proxy's devs to see if they're aware of any security issues?"

"Dude, that's wild! I had a similar issue last month and it turned out my VPN was compromised, so I switched to a Tor-based proxy and it's been smooth sailing ever since."

"Lol, just checked my route and I think I found one too. This proxy hack is getting out of hand. Does anyone know if proxy providers are doing anything to address this?"

"Lol that's not cool at all. I'd recommend you check the Proxy node list on your exchange or wallet, see if the fake node is listed as a trusted node. Maybe we should start discussing this in a separate thread for more visibility."

"Hey OP, that's not good. Have you checked if the proxy is legit? Maybe it's a misconfigured node, or possibly even a malicious actor trying to intercept traffic."

"Whoa, that's a major red flag! I've had some weird routing issues on my proxy lately, gonna check my node list to make sure it's legit. Has anyone tried running a traceroute to see how the proxy is configured?"

"Lol, yeah that's not cool. Have you checked if it's a well-known exit node or something you can update in your Tor config? Anyone else experiencing this?"

"Lol, that's wild. You should run a traceroute to see if the fake node is still on your route and report it to the proxy devs so they can take action. Could be a malicious actor trying to sniff traffic."

"Dude, that's a huge red flag right there. If you're using a proxy, it's likely you've got a potential backdoor into your private data. Have you reached out to the proxy's support team yet to report this?"

"Dude, I'm freakin' paranoid now. Same thing happened to me last week, but I checked the node's public key and it was legit. Guess we gotta keep our wallets updated with the latest TorGuard or whatever."
