Title: Porting Linux Distros to Tiny Devices: The Ultimate DIY Challenge

Hey fellow devs, I've been messing around with tiny devices (think ESP32, Raspberry Pi's Pico), and I'm curious - has anyone tried porting a full-fledged Linux distro to these tiny boards? From what I've seen, it's a beast of a challenge, but I reckon it'd be a solid learning experience for all of us. Who's up for taking on the ultimate DIY challenge?

"Low-power devices with tiny kernels can be super fun to mess around with. I ported Ubuntu Core to a small RockPro64 module last year and it was a wild ride, but the end result was totally worth it. Has anyone here tried their hand at porting Linux to the nifty Pi Zero?"

Just got my PinePhone up and running with PostmarketOS. The experience was super smooth and I was able to get a decent amount of apps installed. Anybody else have experience with porting OS's to tiny devices?
